This Tropical Fruit Salad is full of flavor, vibrant colors, overloaded with vitamins and its a breeze to make!
Our definition of paradise always includes a tropical island in the middle of the ocean, salty breeze, lots of sun, calming turquoise water and swaying coconut trees. This is the exact picture we had in our minds when we created this recipe. Our tropical fruit salad is full of flavor, juicy, refreshing and very colorful. It is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, phytonutrients, flavonoids and has many healthy benefits. It requires no special skills and is guaranteed to please everyone in your party. You can serve it at brunch, or as a delicious afternoon snack or as a light and refreshing dessert after dinner. Are you ready to taste the tropics?
Cut papaya and cantaloupe in half , remove seeds and scoop with the inside using 1in melon baller.
Peel pineapple, cut in quarters lengthwise, cut off the core. Cut each quarter in half and slice it in 1/2in thick slices.
Peel and cut mango into ½ in cubes.
Peel the dragon fruits and cut into ½ in cubes.
In a small bowl mix together mint, honey, orange juice and vanilla.
Add prepared fruits to a large mixing bowl, pour over the dressing, mix well.
Transfer to a serving bowl , sprinkle with coconut flakes and serve.
